Where the 1500 sits between its neighbours

The 1500 is 1530mm wide — 250mm wider than the 1250 and 100mm narrower than the 1600. Those two gaps are very different in practice: the step up from the 1250 is obvious in a room, while the 100mm to the 1600 is a proportion decision rather than a visible size difference.

At standard depth it is 333mm front to back, which sets how far the wall has to come out from the existing one.

This is also the width where the choice stops being about size. The 1500 Slimline is the same 1530mm wide and the same 616.5mm high, at 207mm deep — so at this width the real question is how much room depth you want to give up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose the 1250 or the 1500?

The 1500 is 250mm wider, which is a visible difference in a smaller room. It generally comes down to how much uninterrupted wall the fire can have without crowding what sits either side of it.

What is the difference between the 1500 and the 1500 Slimline?

Only the depth. Both are 1530mm wide and 616.5mm high; the standard is 333mm deep and the Slimline 207mm.
