Same opening, 126mm less wall

This is the 1800 at 207mm deep instead of 333mm. The width is unchanged at 1830mm and the height is the same 616.5mm, so the aperture is identical and only the depth of the wall in front of it changes.

That makes it the straightforward answer for a wide fire in a room that cannot spare the floor. You get the full 1830mm presence without taking the extra 126mm of depth off the room, which on a media wall is the measurement people notice living with it.

If depth is not the constraint, the standard 1800 is the same fire. This is a decision about the room, not about the fire.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Slimline a smaller fire?

No — it is the same 1830mm wide and 616.5mm high as the standard 1800. Only the depth differs: 207mm against 333mm.

Why choose Slimline over standard?

Room depth. The fire sets how far the media wall has to be built out, so 126mm less depth is 126mm of floor kept in a room that has none spare.
